Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Camp

A Janata Clinic camp for screening of Breast and Cervical Cancer was conducted at Gyaneshwor in collaboration with Nepal Cancer Relief Society (NCRS).

The camp was coordinated by the MP Office, Kathmandu – 4 (Gagan Thapa) with the support of some local community clubs including Society for Development and peace and in the premises of Galaxy Public School, Gyaneshwor. Hon. Minister of Health Mr. Gagan Kumar Thapa chaired the event to extend goodwill and support the cause.

More than 200 women underwent preliminary assessment of Breast cancer and samples were collected for Pap smear test for Cervical cancer screening. Those patients requiring further investigation were referred to and managed by NCRS.
