This Janata Clinic Camp was an initiative of Samartha Nepal coordinated by Rotary Club of Durbarmarg Kathmandu and supported by Koshish Nepal Foundation, Dharan. The first day i.e., 26 November was a multispecialty camp including General medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Dental, Oncology and Gynaecology departments. Following that, a Cardiovascular disease focused camp was conducted in collaboration with Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center on 27 November.

Two Days Multispecialty Health Camp at Mahuwa of Janakpur
A two day Free Multispecialty Health Camp was conducted at Mahuwa, Janakpurdham-18 of Dhanusha district.
25 consultant physicians from Kathmandu and Janakpur assessed around 2000 patients from in and around Mahuwa. They were assisted by medical officers from Janaki Medical College and volunteers from local community based organizations. The cases that require further investigation and management were referred to Janakpur District Hospital for follow-up. Free medicines were distributed to the patients in supervision of registered pharmacists.
Janata Clinic, a health movement initiated by Hon. Minister of Health Mr. Gagan Kumar Thapa and Mr. Dibyesh Giri, has been conducting various camps in and around Kathmandu to ensure accessibility of specialized health services to the general public either free of cost or in an affordable cost.
